In cooperation with Nils Blau
Resonating body for tactile art experience.
A ceramic body is made to vibrate with the help of special loudspeakers placed precisely inside the ceramic, becoming a vibrating and resonating sound generator.
The soundtrack that makes the ceramic vibrate is based on the four empty strings of a cello,
and was recorded without post-processing. Any sonic change comes from the properties of the ceramic body. Each of the five loudspeakers are individually controlled and represent the four strings of a cello and its sound corpus.
The audience is invited to embrace and touch the ceramic body in order to physically experience the vibrations and resonances.
